Ingredients for a spicy appetizer with oyster mushrooms:

  • Oyster mushrooms (you can take mushrooms) - 300 g
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2-3 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Dried tomatoes (coarsely ground) - 1 teaspoon
  • Basil (dried) - 1 teaspoon
  • Sweet pepper - 1 pc
  • Sesame - 1 teaspoon
  • Greens - to taste
  • Vinegar (balsamic) - 3 drops.

How to cook a savory oyster mushroom appetizer step by step with photos

Wash the oyster mushrooms, then divide them into smaller piles. Put them in a heatproof dish.

Mix the oil, soy sauce, dried allspice and garlic with the garlic press.

Pour the sauce over the oyster mushrooms, add bell peppers chopped into large chunks, then gently stir them up. Leave the mushrooms for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Bake the oyster mushrooms in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

Remove from the oven and cool either until warm when serving or chilled in the fridge. I prefer them chilled. Before serving, add 2-3 drops of vinegar, stir, place on a plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds and herbs.
