Ingredients for spicy pickled oyster mushrooms:

  • Oyster mushrooms - 1000 g
  • Salt (with a handful) - 1 tablespoon
  • Water (750 ml at once and in 250 later) - 1000 ml
  • Vinegar (6 percent) - 1/3 glass
  • Bay leaf - 3 pcs
  • Cinnamon (ground) - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Allspice (or a mixture of peppers) - 1 teaspoon
  • Cloves - 3 pcs
  • Broth cube (mushroom) - 1 pc
  • Mustard (in grains) - 1 teaspoon

How to cook pickled oyster mushrooms step by step with photos

Tear 1kg of oyster mushrooms by hand, don't slice, size is up to you but I prefer larger

Prepare spices.

Pour 750 ml of water, spices, vinegar into a saucepan

Bring the marinade to a boil and put the mushrooms. In a separate cup dilute the mushroom bouillon cube in boiling water and pour into the mushrooms with marinade.

As soon as the marinade with mushrooms comes to the boil, we cover the pan with a lid and reduce the fire to minimum. Cook for 25 minutes

Let the mushrooms cool down directly in the marinade. strain. And we can serve them with green onions and vegetable oil

The rest of mushrooms can be put into a jar and put in the fridge for storage.
