Ingredients for Stuffed Mushrooms "New Year's Eve":


  • Champignons (large) - 8 pcs
  • Sausage ("Boiled sausage Cherkizovsky") - 200 g
  • Cheese curd - 100 g
  • Green onions (feathers) - 3 pcs
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Butter - 30 g
  • White dry wine - 70 ml
  • Basil (dry) - 1 pinch.
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper (freshly ground) - to taste
  • Hard cheese (grated on a fine grater) - 50 g

How to cook stuffed mushrooms "New Year's" step by step with photos


Remove the stalks from the mushrooms.

Peel and chop the garlic, pound it in a mortar, add the dry basil, salt and melted butter.

Mince into a smooth paste.

Brush the inside of the caps with garlic butter. Put the mushrooms in a fireproof dish, pour the wine, cover the dish with foil and put it into preheated to 180 degrees oven for half an hour.

While the caps are baking let's make the stuffing. Cut the sausage into slices.

Using cookie cutters, cut out the slices.

Cut the rest of the sausage into small pieces, no more than 3mm thick

Add cottage cheese, chopped onion, salt and season with freshly ground black pepper. Stir together .

Remove the mushrooms from the oven. Don't turn off the oven. Let the mushrooms cool down a bit. Stuff them with the stuffing.

Sprinkle each mushroom with grated cheese. Put in oven for 7-10 minutes.

Let the mushrooms cool a little. Using skewers, decorate each mushroom with cut out sausage figures.
