Ingredients for toast with mushrooms, leeks and ham:


  • Baguette (large, stale) - 1 pc
  • Ham (or bacon) - 100 g
  • Leek (white part) - 1 pc
  • White onion - 2 pcs
  • Champignons - 8 pcs
  • Hard cheese (grated) - 100 g
  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs
  • Cream (nonfat ) - 400 g
  • Salt (sea salt to taste)
  • Black pepper (ground to taste)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Greens (chopped, favorite) - 3 pcs
  • Spice mix (Provencal herbs) - 1 pinch.

How to cook toast with mushrooms, leeks and ham step by step with photos


Cut stale baguette into baking sheet sized pieces.

Sauté the chopped white onion, leeks and peeled mushrooms in olive oil until soft.

Add the ham, cook a few more minutes, stir in the chopped herbs, season with salt and pepper.

Place the cooked vegetables on top of the baguette.

Whip cream with eggs, season with salt and pepper.

Pour the cream mixture over baguette, leave for a few minutes so that baguette softens, sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 180° for 20-25 minutes.
