  • Baguette (large, French) - 1 pc
  • Milk - 1 glass
  • Chicken egg (boiled) - 3 units
  • Cream cheese - 2 units
  • Mayonnaise (2 tbsp.l. into the mixture, 1 tbsp.l. spread) - 3 tablespoon
  • Vermicelli (Mivina, Rollton) - 1 package.
  • Carrots (Korean-style) - 200 g
  • vegetable oil (+/- more or less) - 100 ml
  • Greens (for decoration) - to taste
  • Vegetables (for decoration) - to taste
  • Black pepper - tasty

How to cook sandwiches "amazing" step by step with photos


Buy the loaf in advance and let it get stale for a day or two without opening it. Then cut the loaf into 1.5 cm thick slices.

Heat a frying pan on the stove, with a little oil. As the oil heats up to a light haze, turn down the heat, let the oil "settle" on a low flame and then start frying. Otherwise the unheated oil will be absorbed by the loaf. You can then add oil in batches. Pour the milk into a bowl. Dip the slices of dough in the milk quickly on both sides, and fry both sides.

The oil splashes a little, so the fire is strong, but you have to adjust, so that the fire is not too high, but at the same time the slices are fried, not steamed. They fry quickly, be careful, the milk can stick to the slices.

Put them on a napkin to remove the excess oil. But I can tell you, it's almost gone. к. the milk keeps it from being absorbed.

Put all the fried slices on a plate and let them cool. Very soft and toasted at the same time. For those on a diet, toast the loaf in a toaster oven or use your own method.

A standard 60g pack of instant noodles, pour boiling water over them for three minutes, then strain in a colander to let them cool and dry. Stir occasionally so that they don't stick together. Do not add the spices that came with the carrots.

Put carrots in a bowl, if long, slice a little, so they don't pull in long ribbons. I make my own carrots. Prepare everything in an hour - boil eggs, fry toast, pour vermicelli to cool. Then I do the carrots.

Add vermicelli and mayonnaise to the carrots. Mayonnaise, too, exclusively homemade. If you're on a diet or don't like mayonnaise, substitute it with sour cream, mustard or yogurt.

Stir everything. The mass should not be too sparse, adjust with mayonnaise. If you buy mayonnaise, choose a thick one. I have homemade, very thick, I leave it like that, without diluting with water. And for salads, they're great. They don't drip.

Cut the cheese and eggs into pieces.

Combine the eggs, cheese, add pepper, a little mayonnaise or sour cream and beat with an immersion blender. The consistency should not be too thin. Add the mayonnaise in batches. You can grate everything on a fine grater, but lightly frost the cheese. If you need salt, add it more salt. Taste and taste. You can add garlic, but it's enough in carrots, and you can also add herbs. Do according to your own taste.

Spread thinly the cheese and egg mixture on the slices of loaf

Put carrot and noodle mixture on top.

Decorate with fresh vegetables, greens. What we have at the moment. A little pickle is missing, but you can survive it. Or you can skip this moment with the vegetables, sprinkle greens on top and serve.

Very tasty and budget sandwiches, even on weekdays, even for a holiday. We'll have them for tonight, just for fun. BON APPÉTIT!
