Avocado Creme Toast

I'd love to share with you this recipe for toast made with whole wheat bread! In half an hour they'll be ready, and you'll find that the delicate cream and nut crumbs make for a satisfying appetizer!

How to cook avocado cream toast step by step with photos

Wash and cut the avocado in half. Skim off the pips and peel the flesh. Peel the zest from half a lemon and squeeze out the juice. Pour the juice over the avocado flesh.

Wash the chili peppers, we need half a pod. Peel and finely chop them. Tear off leaves from parsley and basil sprigs.

In a blender grind avocado pulp, lemon zest, pepper and herbs. Then mashed potato the avocado puree with the cottage cheese, salt to taste and mix well.

Brown the bread in a toaster or in the oven. Roast the walnuts in a dry pan and chop them. If you have pine nuts you don't have to crush them after roasting.

Cut the bread and spread the cream on it. Sprinkle nut crumbs on top and decorate with chili rings.
