Ingredients for bruschetta "italiana":


  • Mozzarella - 120 g
  • Tomato - 2-3 pcs
  • Cucumber - 1-2 pcs
  • Bread (ciabatta) - 1 pc
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Basil (dried, but preferably fresh) - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt (and pepper, to taste)

How to cook bruschetta "italiana" step by step with photos


Prepare all ingredients to start with. Wash tomatoes and cucumbers. Cut bread into slices.

Toast bread lightly in a dry pan or oven, you can also grill it. When the bread is toasted, rub it with garlic (incl.tsp. crusts)

Cut the cucumbers, mozzarella and tomatoes into cubes. Dress the vegetables with olive oil and add basil, preferably fresh.

Put cucumbers, mozzarella and tomatoes on each slice of bread and drizzle a little olive oil on it. Season with salt and pepper if you like. You can eat them cold, but if you want a real Italian appetizer, put them in the oven and let them fry a little bit more!
