To bake the bell peppers: Preheat oven to 200-230g., Rinse and dry the bell peppers, lay them on baking sheet and bake in the oven, turning them occasionally. That's how it turns out :) To make the process of peeling easier, we put the hot pepper in a saucepan with a lid (for about 15 minutes), after that we easily peel it and remove the seeds.

Then I brushed the pepper slices with olive oil, sprinkled them with the pepper mixture and left them in a bowl with a lid in the fridge overnight. But this is not a mandatory step, it can be skipped and the roasted pepper can be used immediately for its intended purpose.

Cut the baguette into slices at an angle.

Brush both sides with oil and brown them in a dry pan, I have a grill pan, but anyone will do. The heat should be enough to make the slices crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Let's cut the cheese into strips, and blot the herring from the excess oil.

And assembling: a baguette - a slice of cheese - a slice of roasted pepper - a fillet of herring.
