For Fritters

  • Buckwheat Grits (I have TM " Mistral") - 100 g
  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 1.5 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Vegetable oil - to taste

For serving

  • Salmon (salted) - to taste
  • Dill (or any greens you like) - to taste
  • Sour cream - to taste

How to cook buckwheat pancake sandwiches step by step with photos


Boil buckwheat. Let cool.

Whisk the eggs with salt.

Peel and finely chop onion.

Fry for 5 minutes until translucent.

Mix boiled buckwheat porridge, beaten eggs, onions and flour. Allow to stand for 10 minutes.

Spoon out the pancakes with a tablespoon.

Fry on both sides until crispy.
