You just don't have time for a big lunch or dinner. In this case, you can make a sandwich or a sandwich in no time. And not just make it with cheese and sausage, but do something very interesting and unusual. Sandwiches are good for snacking, spontaneous picnics, "take-out" breakfast. Today I'm going to make a chicken and tomato sandwich. Ingredients are quite simple, but combined with Kikkoman soy sauce, they make a colorful appetizer.

Ingredients for chicken and tomato sandwich:


  • Bread - 4 slices.
  • Bell pepper - 1 / 2 pcs
  • Tomato (small) - 3 pcs
  • Soy sauce - 4 tablespoon
  • Cheese curd (I have greens flavor, you can have classic cream cheese) - 4 tablespoon
  • Onions - 1/2 Piece
  • Chicken fillet - 200 g
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

How to cook chicken and tomato sandwich step by step with photos


I prepare all necessary products.

I slice chicken fillet into thin strips.

Finely chop bell peppers and onions.

Pour vegetable oil in a heated frying pan, place chicken filet and fry on high heat for 3 minutes.

Add chopped bell peppers and onion to skillet.

Pour in 4 tablespoons of soy sauce. I used a classic soy sauce. I don't add any more spices. Enough soy sauce for my taste. If you like, you can add more ground pepper and salt.

I stir it and keep it on the heat for about 7 minutes, until the chicken fillets are cooked. It took me a total of 10 minutes to stir-fry. The soy sauce should spread all over the fillets and vegetables, soaking them evenly. Remove from heat.

I spread slices of black bread with cottage cheese. Put thinly sliced tomatoes on one side.

Carefully arrange the sandwich filling on top of the tomatoes.

Top with the other half slices of black bread (already covered with the cottage cheese). Slice sandwich diagonally into 2 pieces. Done! Enjoy your sandwich!
