Country Toast

Delicious toast for breakfast or as a snack.
Ingredients for rustic toast:

How to cook country-style toast step by step with photos

Chop the onion finely and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. |

Peel and dice tomatoes. Add them to the onion in the frying pan.
Braise until all liquids boil off. Leave to cool. |

Dice ham or sausage. |

Grate cheese on a coarse grater. |
|
Mix all ingredients, season with salt and pepper. |
