  • Bread (Toasted) - 2 slices.
  • Tomato (medium) - 1 pc
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Green olives - 2 pcs
  • Capers - to taste
  • Basil - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - To taste
  • Feta - 10 g

How to cook Cretan and Spanish sandwiches step by step with photos


We need two slices of well-drunk bread. Originally, the Spanish sandwiches need crusty bread, but the dacos are made with stale bread.

Grate a tomato on a grater.

Rub one slice of bread with garlic. Sprinkle both loaves with oil and salt.

Spread the tomato mush on both slices. And there we have it "Poor Andalusian's breakfast" is ready, it's garlic bread.

For the dacos we crumble the feta, pepper to taste, chop the olives and basil. You can use dried oregano or parsley instead of basil. Capers, too, to taste. And now our dacos are done, too.
