Ingredients for Crostini with Sprat:

  • Bread (white, gray or black - to taste) - 2 slices.
  • Green olives - 5 pcs
  • Onions (half a small red onion) - 0.5 pcs
  • Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried tomatoes (5 pieces) - 5 pcs
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Vegetable oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Sprat (in marinade or in oil) - 4 pcs

How to cook crostini with sprat step by step with photos

Finely chop onion, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and peel the lemon, half a small lemon is enough. Peel the garlic and cut off one third of a whole clove. Put everything except the garlic in a bowl and mix.

Dissect the sprat into fillets.

Fry bread in a toaster or in a pan on both sides. Brush the bread with olive oil (or other vegetable oil), dip a clove of garlic by its tip in salt and rub the bread on one side.

Put the stuffing on a piece of bread, cut it diagonally and arrange the sprat fillet. Serve at once, while the bread is still wonderfully crispy.
