  • Bread (sliced, wheat) - 2 slices.
  • Cream (can be replaced with thicker milk) - 50 ml
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc
  • Nutmeg (to taste) - 0.25 teaspoon
  • Apple (medium sized) - 1 pc
  • Butter (or melted) - 50 g
  • Cinnamon (to taste) - 0.25 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Powdered sugar - 1 tablespoon

How to cook almost French toast for breakfast step by step with photos

Preparing everything we need for toast at once.

Cut the apple into small cubes. Put butter in a pan and melt it. Sprinkle the apples with cinnamon and sugar and fry for a couple of minutes until the cinnamon flavoring and sugar have been absorbed. Place the apples in a bowl.

In a bowl, fork together the cream, egg and nutmeg.

Soak one side of the bread in the mixture.

Then put it in the pan with the apples and cinnamon. Fry the toasts until they are a nice color.

Then put them on the plate you want to serve them in. Spread the apples on top of the toasts.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cinnamon lovers! You can sprinkle more cinnamon!
