Almost French toast for breakfast

Why almost? Because instead of brioche, I just used sliced whole wheat bread. It turned out just delicious! Stop by and have a taste.

How to cook almost French toast for breakfast step by step with photos

Preparing everything we need for toast at once. |

Cut the apple into small cubes. Put butter in a pan and melt it. Sprinkle the apples with cinnamon and sugar and fry for a couple of minutes until the cinnamon flavoring and sugar have been absorbed. Place the apples in a bowl. |

In a bowl, fork together the cream, egg and nutmeg. |

Soak one side of the bread in the mixture. |

Then put it in the pan with the apples and cinnamon. Fry the toasts until they are a nice color. |

Then put them on the plate you want to serve them in. Spread the apples on top of the toasts. |

Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cinnamon lovers! You can sprinkle more cinnamon! |
