  • Baguette (lightly stale) - 400 g
  • Apple - 5 pcs
  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Chicken egg - 3 pcs
  • Sugar (50g for dough and 50g for apples)) - 100 g
  • Cream (33%) - 300 ml
  • Nutmeg (for apples)
  • Cinnamon (for apples) - 1.5 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice (for apples) - 2 tablespoon
  • Butter (for apples) - 70 g


  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Egg yolk - 6 units
  • Sugar - 100 g
  • Vanilla (a piece of vanilla pod, or 1 tsp.liter vanilla extract)

How to cook apple caramel strata step by step with photos

Friends, you can reduce the quantity a little bit, depending on the diameter of your pan or mold, but please follow the proportions! With a mixer, mix together 500 ml. With a mixer, mix together 500 ml of milk, 3 eggs, 50 grams of sugar and cream until smooth.
