Overall... this recipe... very "dangerous" crunchies... Why dangerous?? It's simple - they're very quick to make and just as quick to eat. And I don't even want to call it cooking... Come in - we'll crisp together!

  • Bun (More specifically, bagels.) - 4 pcs
  • Butter (Soft) - 20 g
  • Sugar - 3 tablespoon
  • Lemon peel (Orange, lime, and tangerine can be used as well.) - 1 teaspoon

How to cook toast step by step with photos


I'll say it again, it's pretty simple - here are our ingredients. The best type of bread is bagels - they make croutons that are very fluffy and melt in your mouth! I try to make the crispbread from fresh bread - the aroma depends on it - it's light and delicate.

Make slices of bagels about a centimeter thick. Brush each slice with soft butter very thinly (literally trying to just "blocking" pores)

Grate the lemon zest into the sugar and rub it well with your hands so that it gets aromatic and the sugar starts to turn golden. So you can make sugar with any flavor - citrus, mint greens, melissa, and so on. In general, you can dream up. (If you flavor sugar with herbs, don't chop them very finely, but just grind them with twigs, then they can easily be removed, leaving only a flair of aromatic herbs!). Generally speaking, this process can be entrusted to "unexpected" guests - as long as you grease the slices, everything will be ready. And for the fine motor skills of children this is a good process - the main thing is to have something to sprinkle on our salmon slices!

Sprinkle each slice with sugar (it's better to do it right over the plate) and shift it to a baking tray (they won't stick, of course, but I still, to avoid unnecessary washing, line the tray with baking paper). You can also sprinkle with sesame seeds. We send it into the oven heated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes - literally until the tea is brewed!
