I suggest you try the French toast with jam from "Maheev". I made my croutons with strawberry jam. And you can make them in any flavor you like.

  • Chicken egg - 3 pcs
  • Milk - 200 ml
  • Bread (toast) - 10 slices.
  • Jam ("Maheev", to taste)
  • Butter (for frying, a little bit. Or you can use olive oil)

How to cook French toast with jam step by step with photos


Main Ingredients. Number of bread slices should be a couple. If desired, you can add salt to the egg-milk mixture (I do it without salt) or spices - nutmeg, cinnamon.

In the previous step, I noted that the number of slices of bread should be paired. Divide our 10 slices into pairs, getting 5 pairs))) Spread jam on one slice of the pair "Maheev's " - Approximately one or one and a half tablespoons, if you like it sweeter, you can have two tablespoons. Then we cover the smeared slice with another slice (not smeared). Do the same with each slice of bread.

Prepare the egg and milk mixture. Т. е. whisking the milk with the eggs. Without fanaticism.

Heat a frying pan and add oil to fry. Once the pan is well heated, you can start frying the croutons. Each "billet" Dip bread and jam on both sides in egg-milk mixture and place on griddle.

Since my stove doesn't fry evenly, I make my toast in the multicooker. It takes a little longer, but it cooks evenly and it doesn't stick. And I fry them in olive oil. But all this, as they say, is an everyday thing.) It's up to you how you like it.
