  • Baton (slices. It is better to use yesterday's French bread.) - 8 pcs
  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs
  • Powdered sugar - 1/2 glass
  • Milk - 1/4 glass
  • Cinnamon - 1 pinch.
  • Nutmeg (ground) - 1 pinch.
  • butter (for frying croutons)

How to cook French toast step by step with photos


Combine eggs, powdered sugar,

Cinnamon, milk and ground nutmeg.

Whisk well with a fork.

Put the butter in a frying pan and melt.

Dip the slices of loaf in the liquid and let stand a while while the butter heats up.

Fry the slices of loaf in the hot oil

on both sides. Do not overcook!
