  • Baton - 1/2 Piece
  • Milk - 1/2 glass
  • Chicken egg - 2...3 units
  • Brown sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Nutella - to taste
  • Vegetable oil (or butter) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sauce (caramel, chocolate) - 1 tablespoon
  • Vanillin - to taste
  • Salt - 1 pinch.

How to cook Nutella breakfast croutons step by step with photos

Cut French toast into 1-1.5 cm thick slices.

Whisk eggs with milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Pour into a bowl suitable for dipping the slices of loaf.

Spread nutella densely on half of the slices. Cover the top with the remaining slices of loaf and press down lightly.

Heat vegetable oil or butter in a skillet. Dip both sides of the loaf in the egg-milk mixture and place in the pan. Fry over medium heat until golden on one side, then gently flip to the other side, turn the heat down and fry for another 2...3 minutes more.
