Dice the fruit into roughly equal slices.
Prepare a loaf of bread at once, 6 slices. |

Heat a pan, add sugar, as it begins to caramelize, add the fruit, stir, let it simmer for 10-15 seconds. |

Add 2 tablespoons of cold water, stir and for a nice aroma, add a piece of butter.
Stir until the butter is melted, then put on medium heat, let it stew.
