  • Bread - 2 slices.
  • Pear - 1 pc
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc
  • Milk - 2 tablespoon
  • Sugar (2 tbsp.l. - syrup, 0.5 in egg mixture) - 2.5 tablespoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) - 2 tablespoon

How to cook pear croutons step by step with photos


Cut pear into small cubes. Then in a heavy bottomed saucepan or pot we put pears, 2 tablespoons of sugar and water. Put on medium heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

While the syrup is boiling let's make toast. Cut the bread into 2 triangles. Whisk the egg with the milk, salt and sugar

Warm up a frying pan with vegetable oil. Dip the bread in the egg mixture and pan-fry until golden brown. You can make this breakfast a little healthier and fry it in a dry pan. Before serving, drizzle the toast with pear syrup. Toasts are ready! Enjoy your breakfast!
