  • Baton - 5 slices.
  • Sweet red pepper - 1/4 pc
  • Petiole celery - 1 twig.

  • Hard cheese (grated) - 2 tablespoon
  • Butter (can be replaced with vegetable oil) - 2 tablespoon
  • Carrots - 1/4 Piece
  • Heart (beef, boiled, shredded) - 1 tablespoon
  • Red Onion (chopped) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce ("Kikkoman", classic) - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper (ground) - to taste

How to cook croutons "pizzettes" step by step with photos


Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the middle slices out of the bread, they will come in handy too. Prepare the filling, it's very little, don't get carried away, just 1 tablespoon per crouton. For the first filling, finely chop the bell peppers, red onion and boiled beef heart. For the second one, carrots, celery stalk and red hot peppers. In a separate bowl, mix together the lightly beaten eggs and grated cheese.

Fry our stuffing in the oil, making sure that it fries very fast, the vegetables should stay a little crispy.

At the end of frying we add black pepper and soy sauce, mix quickly. If you cook without soy sauce, or if necessary add salt. This picture shows the second stuffing.

Portion the stuffing with a spatula, piling it up so it fits inside the slice of loaf.

We put a tablespoon of egg and cheese mixture on vegetables and close "with a lid" - cut out the middle. Let the stuffing set for a few seconds, press on top with a spatula, flip and fry until deliciously crispy.

Serve our croutons hot, garnished with carrot and celery tulips.

Add red pepper rings on top for a spicy treat.
