  • Chicken Egg (Boiled) - 2 pcs
  • Hard cheese (Belebeyevsky) - 30 g
  • Green onion (Pera) - 2 pcs
  • Mustard (French) - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Mayonnaise (Sour cream/yogurt) - 1 tablespoon
  • Herring (Two fillet halves) - 2 pcs
  • Lemon - 0,5 pc
  • Olives - 10 pcs
  • Parsley (For decoration)
  • Baton (Slices) - 6 pcs
  • Cucumber - 0,5 pcs

How to cook herring sandwich "tasty and easy" step by step with photos

Slice the cucumber into thin slices. Drain excess liquid from olives. Cut lemons into half rings and pith-free. Place the mayonnaise and mustard in a bowl, finely chop the onion.

Add grated cheese and an egg. ( mix paprika, if desired). Mix the spread thoroughly. Slice herring fillet into small pieces.

assemble the sandwiches: spread each slice of bread with our egg-cheese spread. You can make small portioned canapes by cutting any shapes out of the loaf. Put a herring on one side and a cucumber slice on the other. Put a slice of lemon between them. Place a couple of olives and greens on the side.
