How to cook egg pâté sandwich step by step with photos

Here are our products. Eggs must be 2 days old. Fresh eggs are difficult to peel. Make sure the eggs are washed.

Boil the eggs for 8 minutes. Then wash off the hot water and add cold water. Let the eggs rest in cold water for about 3 minutes.

Let's slice the bread or loaf. If you have sliced bread, set aside 10 slices for sandwiches.

Then peel the eggs. Cut them in half and scrape out the yolks. Set the whites aside for now.

Crush the yolks thoroughly with a fork. They're easy to beat. There is no need to salt them.

We add two tablespoons of soft butter to the yolks. One tablespoonful is 20 grams. Knead, trying to mix with the yolks.

If the butter doesn't mix with the yolks, transfer the mixture into an iron bowl and heat it over the heat for 2 to 3 seconds, no more. While stirring all the time. The butter will immediately become malleable.

Take the egg white and finely chop it with a knife. The knife should be sharp, so it's easier to work with. And now we'll salt the chopped egg white. Don't over-salt it. Use a little salt, you can add any spices you like.

Pour the chopped egg whites into the yolks and butter. Add to the mixture 1/2 teaspoon mustard. Mix thoroughly.

And spread the mixture on the slices of bread or loaf. Don't spread it too thick, or the filling will come off. One last touch: sprinkle our sandwiches with finely chopped chives.
