Fish Curd Cheese Sandwiches

Cooked Fish and Cheese Sandwiches

Sandwiches on Borodino Bread with grilled fish and Provencal herbs, lemon juice and olive oil. It doesn't matter which kind of fish you take - expensive or not. We need to combine the stripped fish into fibers with cream cheese and add greens. It makes a very healthy sandwich and of course it is light and generous!

For Fish

  • Fish (I have carp, any fish) - 200 g
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Black pepper (to taste, optional)
  • Seasoning (Provencal herbs) - 1 teaspoon

For sandwiches

  • Cheese curd (creamy) - 100 g
  • Petiole celery - 1 pc
  • Dill (chopped) - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Breads (Borodin generous or rye or buckwheat or....) - 6 pcs

Optional

  • Cherry tomatoes (Optional, for serving)

How to cook fish and cottage cheese sandwiches step by step with photos


Take the fish. Season the fish with salt, lemon juice, olive oil, herbs and freshly ground peppered if desired. I put the fish in a clay pot that I can put in the oven. Bake it in the oven at 180 C for 15-20 minutes. You need to use your oven. That's good enough time for me. While the fish is baking I put the cottage cheese in a bowl. I added chopped dill and celery stalks. Stirring. I sliced the fish into fibers, taking out all the bones.

Combine with the cottage cheese. Taste for salt and add a little more salt. The sandwich mixture is ready. I put it in a jar. I'll put it in the fridge for a while. Although can be eaten all at once.

For the sandwiches I will use borodino breads generous.

Spread generously on the bread. I added more cherry tomatoes, it's not necessary.

I made these sandwiches for breakfast.
