Sandwiches

  • Salmon (steak, trout, salmon would be good) - 200 g
  • Seasoning (FORESTER for fish) - 2 teaspoon
  • Sauce - 3 tablespoon
  • Baguette (piece) - 5 pcs

Sauce

  • Mustard (1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp table mustard) - 2 tablespoon
  • Honey (liquid) - 1 tablespoon

How to cook grilled salmon sandwiches step by step with photos


I washed and dried salmon steak with paper towel.

Sprinkle with FORESTER fish seasoning.

Cover and let it marinade for 15 minutes.

Let's make bread. I like the plain baguette best. We can buy it for the country house, but we can make it homemade on holiday. Let's carve it. I cut it in these long pieces, so that the fish could fit in more.

We take a grid and lay the pieces on it, put it under the grill in the oven or on the grill, on the coals at a picnic. Bread's done real quick in about 3 minutes.

Make the sauce. We combine dijon mustard and table mustard with honey. You can just make it with regular mustard, but it tastes better with grains.

Make the bread until it has a nice crust. Just don't overdo it! Baguette dries quickly on the grill!

Wrap the fish in foil.

We wrap it up carefully, because we will do it on a picnic in the coals, but at home on a grid in the oven under the grill.

The fish is done quickly. 10-15 minutes. Depends on the size of the piece, of course. I only have 200 grams.

Put the sauce on the baguette.

Put the fish in a bowl, remove the skin and seeds. Shred it with a fork. Spread a thick layer on top of the sauce.
