Ingredients for hushpuppies with beef patty and bacon:


  • Potatoes - 6 pcs
  • Corn starch - 1 tablepoon
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 3 tablespoon
  • Chicken Egg - 1 pc
  • Butter (soft) - 40 g
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) - 120 ml


  • minced meat (beef) - 700 g
  • Greens (parsley, dill, green onions) - 1 pooch.
  • Bacon - 100 g
  • Salad leaves / Salad - 1 pooch.
  • Mustard (with honey from HAAS) - 2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste


  • Mustard (HAAS Dijon) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sour cream - 5 tablespoon
  • Greens (to taste) - 1 bunch.
  • Garlic - 2 clove

How to cook hash browns with beef patty and bacon step by step with photos

Rinse and peel potatoes, wash and rinse them again.

Grate potatoes on a coarse grater, then drain. Stir in salt, pepper, egg, butter, starch and flour. Stir in.

Form into thick pancakes. Fry in a frying pan in heated oil on both sides for a couple of minutes on each side.

Mix minced meat, chopped greens, salt and pepper. Add mustard and egg. Be sure to beat the stuffing (lift the mass and forcefully throw it back into the bowl) a couple of times.

Form the cutlets, fry in the same frying pan for three minutes on each side.

Place the hashbrowns on a paper-lined baking tray.

Place a cutlet on top. Send in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Temperature: 180 degrees.

Fry the bacon strips in a dry frying pan.

For the sauce, mix all the ingredients.

Place ready burgers on lettuce leaves, top with bacon. Serve with sauce!
