  • Bread (Borodinsky or any black bread) - 2 slice.
  • cottage cheese (I took cottage cheese with greens) - 2 tablespoon
  • Mustard (1 tsp regular Dijon +1 tsp grain) - 2 teaspoon
  • Green onions (quill) - 1 pc
  • Herring - 6 slice.
  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs
  • Parsley (to serve)
  • Red onion (for serving)

How to Make the Food We Need for Toast.

To make the spread. I used cottage cheese with herbs. I put two kinds of Dijon mustard in it. You can have regular table mustard, but for me it tastes better with Dijon. Finely chop one blade of green onion. Combine thoroughly and our spread is ready!

Spread generously the cheese spread on the slices of Borodino bread, put the slices of herring. It depends on the slice of bread, I had 3 slices each. Boil the eggs the way you like. You can do it "hard-boiled" and you can "intersperse". I like the yolk to stay stringy. Put the cut egg in half. Again from the slice of bread, as much as will fit. I fit half an egg each. Garnish the top with scallions. I have parsley and sprinkle with chopped red onion. If you like it spicy, you can put a little mustard on top. Toasts are ready!
