Ingredients for hot carrot and potato sandwiches:


  • Baton (sliced) - 1 pc
  • Onions - 2 units
  • Potatoes - 2-3 pcs
  • Carrots - 1-2 pcs
  • Spices (to taste)
  • Chicken egg (for batter) - 4 pcs
  • Milk (for batter) - 2 tablespoon
  • bay leaf (ground + salt, for batter)

How to cook hot carrot and potato sandwiches step by step with photos


Take a loaf, peel the vegetables.

Grate vegetables on a fine grater and mix.

Add salt, pepper, spices, sesame. Stir again.

Make batter and beat it with a fork.

Spread mixture on slices of loaf (bread).

Dip bread rolls into batter on both sides and fry on the pan.

Very tasty with tea or coffee.
