Frozen. These sandwiches are a godsend for husbands and kids who bring food to work or school with them. You can freeze them, put them in the oven in the morning, and get ready for work in peace. It's also indispensable on picnics, you can heat it up on the grill without a problem. And finally it's just delicious. I used to make it all the time, but then I just undeservedly gave it up.. But here it all started with making borscht...)))

How to cook hot sandwiches step by step with photos

I know a simple ham salad. There's a ham leftover that no one's eating. Let me think I'll make it for a change. The salad comes with pineapple. Opened the jar, took out the fruit, left the juice. I don't want to drink it, I hate to spill it. I know a muffin that has a pineapple or orange juice in it. I made a muffin with only egg yolks in it. There were egg whites left over. I hate to throw it away, I hate to keep it, I'll throw it away anyway. I thought I'd make a meringue. It's no big deal. I grated a lemon peel into the meringue. There's a bald lemon left over. If I don't use it right away, it'll dry out! Well, lemon is easy. It makes a great dressing for a salad. I sliced half an onion into the salad. ♪ Only big onions in the house ♪! I got half of 'em left, what do you do with 'em?? Decided to make tomato gravy for the spaghetti, there was nothing else to fry with the onions. Opened a can of tomato paste, used half of it. And where to put the other half?? I'd forget it in the fridge, and it would go bad without preservatives. I decided to make borscht. I couldn't find any cabbage for borscht. Had to go to the store. At the store I bought cabbage, carrots, herring, sausage, sausage, napkins, laundry detergent, a tablecloth (at a discount), slippers (also at a discount) and three packs of pads just in case. Cooked borscht, didn't notice if there was anything left. I fell on the couch, my back can't straighten, I can't feel my legs, my arms fall off.. I think, what an idiot! I should have thrown that pineapple juice away!!! This anecdote from my life today is just about me.. It all started when I decided to make borscht... Took the boiled chicken and carrots out of the broth... and then, as the joke goes... I got these sandwiches to take to my husband for lunch.

Boiled chicken (breasts, legs, thighs, etc. д.), I added carrots to the broth, for flavor and transparency, but eventually the carrots came in handy, just boiled borscht... Onion a little fry, (I stole the onion from the borscht starter, literally a couple of tablespoons).

We finely chop our chicken fillet, carrots, bell peppers (I have frozen), garlic. All mixed, add onion, and grated cheese.

All well mixed, if necessary salt and pepper, and then there are 2 options, each his own - or add mayonnaise in stuffing, or just butter the bread. Here is such a delicious and beautiful stuffing I have got, a pity the greens was not, it would still brighten up the already bright sandwiches. I added a couple tablespoons of mayonnaise.

To assemble the sandwiches: I cut the foil into squares, put a slice of bread on it (any bread you have in the house, even the day before yesterday's dried out). Put our stuffing and wrap.

These are the kind of stuffing I make. You can freeze some, and in the morning, while you are going to work or on a picnic, throw it in the oven with the foil unrolled in advance. You can also bake them right away, but if you bake them in advance and take them with you later, then cool the sandwich and then wrap them in foil again or they will get damp.

I put a few in the oven right away because my husband's working tomorrow... which means he's taking them with him. A couple of these sandwiches are enough for him at work, to live up to lunch (in the morning at home does not eat breakfast).

And this is a ready-made sandwich.
