Ingredients for hot sprats sandwiches:


  • Bread (white loaf) - 4 slices.
  • Sprats (in oil) - 8 pcs
  • Tomato - 1 pc
  • Hard cheese - 70 g
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Ketchup (tomato sauce) - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste

How to cook Hot Sprats Sandwiches step by step with photos


Place slices of dough in a preheated oven at 200°C for 3-5 minutes to dry.

Meanwhile, mix ketchup (tomato sauce) and minced garlic.

I spread tomato-garlic mixture on toasted bread and spread it all over the surface.

Put thin slices or rings of onion on top.

Then I place thin slices of tomato, lightly salted.

Sprats are placed on top of the tomatoes (2 pieces per sandwich).

Cover the top with grated cheese.

Bake in preheated oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes. The cheese should melt nicely.
