Irish Cheese-garlic toast with gherkins
|
I was blown away by the simple preparation and unique flavor of these croutons! There's crusty bread, fragrant garlic, and delicate cheese and pickles! Despite the addition of mustard and vinegar, the croutons are not spicy at all, but on the contrary, with a very pleasant aftertaste! The Irish certainly know a thing or two about snacks served with beer! But I have to tell you a secret, they are wonderful without beer: salty, spicy - it's very hard to stop!!!
