How to cook meat balls in baguette step by step with photos
Cut the tops off the baguette and remove the crumb. |
mince the onion and the crumbled baguette or chop it in a blender. Add to the minced meat (I had 400 gr., more balls than necessary). Beat egg and salt. Stir well. |
Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Fry in olive oil until soft. |
Grate cheese on a coarse shredding drum, then spread some of it on baguettes. |
Add Haas Dijon mustard. |
Spread out the meatballs. |
Spread sliced cherry tomatoes between the balls. |
Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cook in the microwave until the cheese is melted. These appetizers are great for taking outdoors, wrapped in foil. |
