Mustard and cream herring spread

This is a great appetizer for a holiday table, guests, or a casual meal. You can make sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, canapés and steamed toasts with this spread and herring slices. Try... It's divine to me! I can just spread it on bearded bread, even without the herring, and eat it... Mmmmmmmm...

How to cook mustard and cream herring spread step by step with photos

For this spread I'm going to use HAAS Dijon mustard. I just love it! Take the butter out of the fridge so it's soft. Red onion, very, very finely chopped! You don't have to grate it!!! I used a sauce like Krasnodar sauce. |
If you do not spread it all, you can cover it with a lid until the next time. Put the butter in the dish and knead it with a fork, add the sauce and mustard. Combine thoroughly. |
Add onion and combine. |
The spread is ready. I'll take a Borodino bun for the sandwiches. Cut them in half. For this appetizer you can take any kind of black bread, cut it into slices and dry it, i.e. make toast. You can make canapés "on one tooth" With one piece of herring. |
I spread a layer of borodino buns. Do not spread a thick layer, but it's up to taste. Put the herring fillets on top. Put in fridge for about 10 minutes to let butter set a little. |

Serve at! Enjoy!! |
