Very hearty, simple and delicious sandwiches. Recommended. I personally just need a couple of them. I can even feed my husband and sons with a dozen) Try it, it's in season and it's a sin to make it for a change!!

Ingredients for Hot Sandwiches "hearty":


  • Baton - 10 slices.
  • Chicken filet (boiled, or breast) - 200 g
  • Zucchini (small) - 1/2 pc
  • Potatoes - 1 pc
  • Tomato - 1 pc
  • Hard cheese - 70 g
  • vegetable oil (for frying) - to taste
  • Soy sauce (from TM Kikkoman) - 3 tablespoon
  • Seasoning - to taste
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc

How to cook hot sandwiches "hearty" step by step with photos


Slice boiled chicken breast or fillet into large slices

Grate zucchini (I have zucchini) and potatoes on a coarse grater. Squeeze out excess juice, add soy sauce from Kikkoman and salt to taste. Add 1 egg and mix everything.

Put vegetable mixture on slices of loaf. Put vegetables side down in the hot oil. In a big frying pan I fry 5 slices at a time.

After 3 to 4 minutes we turn the sandwiches and put a slice of tomato and chicken meat on each one. I do it on a plate.

Put the sandwiches back in the pan. We don't add any more butter, we sprinkle each one with a generous amount of cheese. Cover the pan with the lid and toast the sandwiches until the cheese melts.

Sprinkle with your favorite seasonings before serving. I use dried basil in these sandwiches, it's a perfect combination!
