Original Toast

Quick, Easy, Delicious. This recipe was taken from Lisa's "Bon Appetit" magazine a few years ago. And only recently began to be used and quite often. Now this is my favorite toast.
Ingredients for the original toast:

Onions

1 pc

Olive oil
-
4 tablespoon
-
Tomato
(fleshy)

2 pcs

Garlic
-
2 clove
-
Bread
(black, baguette bread is fine)

4 slices.

Hard cheese
-
40 g
-
Basil
(for decoration, if any)
-
0.5 bunch.

Black pepper
(ground and salt to taste)
How to cook original toast step by step with photos

Slice tomatoes and blanch in salted water for about 1 minute. Then cool and peel off the skins and cut into small cubes. Peel and finely chop onion and sauté together with tomatoes in a tablespoon of olive oil for about 4-5 minutes. Press garlic and sauté (you may want to add fresh garlic) in 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the slices of bread and fry until crispy. Sprinkle slices of tomato on the ready toasts, season and sprinkle with cheese. Garnish with basil. |
