How to cook peasant croutons step by step with photos
A simple set of ingredients, but the photo is missing the cucumber and garlic)) |
Fry the bread (preferably sliced) in a dry frying pan (or butter it lightly) until crispy and brown, and rub the garlic all over it while it's still hot. Peel and cut the onions in half rings, peel and slice the mushrooms too. |
Marinate the onions in vinegar and sugar, you can sprinkle with ground pepper for about 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile, lightly coat each crouton with mayonnaise and cut into thin slices a pickle. |
You can begin to assemble the sandwich. Lay the pickled onion on the bread, smeared with mayonnaise, and top with the cucumber and mushroom slices. If you want, you can make a thin grid of mayonnaise on top, but I just sprinkled the ground pepper mixture. |

So simple and so tasty. Help yourself to! |
