Pesto Sandwiches

Delicious and hearty Italian sandwiches from the children's cookbook. Very quick and easy to make.
Ingredients for pesto sandwiches:

How to cook pesto sandwiches step by step with photos

Chop the garlic and mince with the parmesan in a food processor. |
|
Add the pine nuts and chop together until crumbly. |
|
Add basil and 3 tablespoon of olive oil and chop the mixture until smooth. |
|
Mix 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of milk. |
|
Cut bread into 1 slice.Coat both sides with butter and milk and grill lightly on a grill pan. If you don't have a grill pan, you can use a toaster oven. |

Put bell peppers on a baking tray lined with foil and place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. |
|
Remove when the skin is wrinkled. Let cool, remove peel and remove seeds. |
|
Cut peppers into long thin slices and mozzarella into slices. |
|
Spread pesto on slices of bread, then put pepper slices and mozzarella on top. Put them in the oven for 3 minutes. |
