Russian Table Sandwich

A way to serve the usual Russian feast foods as appetizer sandwiches.

How to cook sandwich "Russian feast" step by step with photos

Peel the herring, remove the bones. Slice herring into thin slices with a sharp knife. |

Peel boiled beets, grate them on a fine grater, add sour cream and horseradish. Knead thoroughly. |

Cut a quarter of an apple and cut into very thin slices. |
|
Slice the onion into thin slices. |
|
Cut the bread into small slices. Place an apple slice on the corner of the sandwich. |
|
Fan some onion rings on top of the apple. |
|
String 3 slices of herring on a toothpick and put the toothpick in the corner of the apple. Around the edge of the sandwich, lay out a wave of beet paste. Decorate sandwiches with dill. |
