  • Garlic (to taste) - 1 clove

  • Mayonnaise (to taste) - 2 tablespoon
  • Anchovies (can be substituted for cleaned sprat) - 18 pcs
  • Green onions (feather, optional) - 1 pc
  • Breads (Borodino ТМ "Generous") - 6 units

I boiled the beets ahead of time. For the sandwiches I would use Borodino Bread TM Generous. Rye breads and buckwheat bread will also do...

We take a blender and put chopped beets, garlic and cottage cheese in it. Add salt and red hot pepper. Taste and season with your favorite pepper as desired. Add mayonnaise. Any mayonnaise: homemade or store-bought. Taste and season to taste.

Crumble. I did not try too hard, I have a beet in small fragments. We taste it, and if anything, we adjust the salt, pepper, garlic and mayonnaise.

We take the bread and spread it generously with beet-cottage cheese spread. Place anchovies on top. I had 3 pieces per sandwich. If you can not buy anchovies, substitute them for our sprat, fillet them and soak in a little wine vinegar. Sprinkle the sandwich with green onions, if desired.
