  • Shrimp - 8 pcs
  • Zucchini (young zucchini) - 1 pc
  • Toast - 4 pcs
  • Water (for marinade) - 1 tablepoon
  • Vinegar (balsamic - for marinade) - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil (for marinade) - 1 teaspoon
  • Cream cheese (in platters) - 8 slices.
  • Sauce (Blue Dragon sweet chili sauce - 2 Tbsp.l. for toast and 2 Tbsp.l. for the marinade) - 4 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon

How to cook shrimp in a "swaddle" with zucchini zucchini step by step with photos


First let's do the zucchini. Cut into 8 thin slices, put them in a bowl and make a marinade of water, sauce, oil, vinegar and salt. Stir everything and leave in the refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes.

Cut toast into any shape you like, I had an oval cookie cutter, or you can just cut a slice of toast bread into four pieces.

Lightly grease each slice "Blue Dragon sweet chili sauce" And place in the microwave for 1.5 minutes at full power. (You could probably do the opposite - dry the bread first and then smear - but I haven't tried that). In this step, you have to be careful not to burn the toast!!!

Defrost the shrimp, peel them. I had them already boiled. If raw, boil them.

Wrap each shrimp in a slice of cheese, like a "a diaper envelope", Put them on a piece of bread and put back in the microwave for 1 minute or less, until the cheese begins to melt.

Р.S. I suppose the toast, shrimp, and zucchini could also be grilled, but in the absence of the latter, I haven't tried it yet... But I think everything would taste much better and more flavorful on the grill!
