Ingredients for Shrimp on Toast:


  • Shrimp (cooked and peeled) - 500 g
  • Red onions - 1/2 pc
  • Dill - 1/2 bunch.
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Lemon (juice and zest) - 1 / 2 pcs
  • Sour cream (or mayonnaise) - 4 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Bread - 4 slices.
  • Butter - 20 g
  • Red caviar (optional, for serving)

How to cook shrimp on toast step by step with photos


Boil the shrimp in salted water, I did not have peeled shrimp, so I peeled them.

Add chopped onion, most of the dill, olive oil, lemon zest and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper and stir to combine.

Make 4 toasts in a toaster and brush them with butter, or toast the bread in a pan with the butter so that the bread absorbs it.

Spread the shrimp on the slices. Garnish with red caviar and remaining dill.
