Ingredients for Shrimp Toast:


  • Shrimp (peeled (if about 350-400 in the shell)) - 250 g
  • Egg white - 1 pc
  • Salt (to taste) - 1/6 teaspoon
  • Bread (toasted) - 8 pcs
  • Dill (optional) - 1/4 bunch.
  • Soy sauce (optional) - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon (squeeze on cooked toast if desired) - 1/2 Piece
  • Sesame - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon

How to cook shrimp toast step by step with photos


Peel the shrimp.

Shred the shrimp until smooth, add the egg white, pepper, salt, finely chopped dill, soy sauce and whisk again.

Spread it on the bread in a 4 mm thick layer. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and cut into triangles. If the toast bread is large, it may be cut in 4 pieces.

Put the bread in a heated frying pan with a little oil, butt side down. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat. Then fry on the other side until golden.

Serve hot, with lemon slices if desired!
