How to cook toast "scagen" on buckwheat bread step by step with photos
Cook Toast "Scagen" very easy. Peel the shrimp, season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. There is no need to salt it, because the mayonnaise has salt. Fry the shrimps in butter for 1.5 minutes on each side. Let cool. |
Then prepare the rest of the ingredients. |
Slice the shrimp, if you have small ones you can leave them in one piece. Finely chop the dill. Mix shrimp, dill, mustard and mayonnaise. Stir to combine. |
Coat the flatbreads with a thin layer of mayonnaise. Spread shrimp mixture on one side. Put a spoonful of salted herring caviar and a slice of lemon on the other side.
Traditionally, the Swedes use either vendace or catfish caviar, but I think any caviar will do. The main thing is to make it tasty.
Garnish the toast to your liking. |
