Ingredients for garlic toast with mushrooms:

  • Mushrooms - 500 g
  • Onions - 2 pcs
  • Garlic (or to taste) - 6 clove
  • Parsley
  • vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper (ground)
  • Bread (rye.)
  • White dry wine (optional.) - 50 ml
  • Lemon (not large)

How to cook diced garlic croutons with mushrooms step by step with photos

Dice onion and chop garlic.

Slice the mushrooms into chunks, coarse slices are fine.

Fry onion and garlic in sunflower oil until golden brown.

Then add mushrooms and bring to boil. Do not forget to season with salt and pepper. At this point pour in the wine and lemon juice. I add the juice to taste, starting with a little. Keep on the heat until the liquid evaporates.

The resulting mushroom mixture should be cooled and crushed in a blender. Preferably not into a purée, but into small pieces.

Cut the rye bread into thin slices and fry on a dry pan on 2 sides, so that they are slightly crispy. I did it in a toaster. Rub the croutons with garlic

Then put some parsley greens on the crouton, and mushroom mixture on top.

All, ready croutons serve to the table. If you want you can put a piece of quail egg on top.
