Strawberry and basil sandwiches

Dear cooks, the strawberry season is starting, so I'm sharing with you my favorite summer breakfast that I've been making for probably 5 years. The combination of a warm, crispy slice of bread, with juicy strawberries on a soft creamy cloud of cottage cheese, flavored with spicy green basil and a thick balsamic cream, believe me, will not leave you indifferent! Any seasonal, juicy, sweet and sour fruit/berries can be used for sandwiches. My favorites are strawberries and nectarines. I heartily encourage you to try and find your own flavor combinations! Ingredients for strawberry and basil sandwiches:
- Baton - 50 g
- Butter - 10 g
- Cheese curd (9% cottage cheese, ricotta) - 25 g
- Strawberries (medium size berries, 30-35g) - 2 pcs
- Balsamic (balsamic cream) - to taste
- Basil - to taste
