Tartines with shrimp

This extraordinarily delicious tartine recipe from the best-selling cookbook by Mireille Giuliano "French Women don't get fat" (French Women don't get fat). That pretty much says it all.
Ingredients for Shrimp Tartines:

4 slices.

Butter
-
0.5 tablespoon

Olive oil

1 tablespoon

Chili pepper
(to taste)

Black pepper
(to taste)

Salt
(to taste)
How to cook shrimp tartines step by step with photos

Wash and core an apple and cut into small pieces. Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the apple for 5 minutes in it with the lemon juice. Add half the zest and freshly ground black pepper. Let apples cool to room temperature. |

Pour olive oil into a frying pan and fry the shrimp in it. Add the remaining zest and season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove and allow to cool to room temperature. |

Cut the baguette into pieces and toast in a pan or toaster. Put apples and two pieces of shrimp on the bread, drizzle with olive oil and place a piece of chili or a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper. |
