Let me tell you right away that I did not come up with the recipe, but only repeated an interesting version of the author of the magazine! Cook this sandwich, you will have a lot of fun! The sandwich is unusual in its composition and appearance! It has everything you need for an appetizing breakfast: salmon, avocado-cream cheese and poached egg!

Ingredients for the sandwich "special":


  • Salmon (lightly salted, or other fish) - 150 g
  • Chicken egg (raw) - 2 pcs
  • Avocado (1-2 pieces) - 2 pieces
  • Cream cheese (soft) - 60 g
  • Lemon (juice) - 1 pc
  • Bread (toast) - 2 slices.
  • Vegetable oil (for greasing the bread when making poached eggs)
  • Greens (for serving)
  • Black pepper (ground, for serving)

How to cook sandwich "special" step by step with photos


All items are based on two servings. You will need small bowls to make these sandwiches. I didn't really have bowls, but rather molds and as it turned out later, could have had a little more. To begin, cut the bread slices to the size of the bowls, which will be the base of the sandwich.

Layer the bottom and sides of each bowl with slices of salmon (or other similar fish).

Mash the avocado pulp, add the soft cream cheese and lemon juice. One avocado and the juice of 0.5 lemon. So, when making the cream, be guided by your chosen dish.

To make the poached egg, take a heavy cellophane sachet, grease the inside with vegetable oil, drop it into a glass and beat the egg into the sachet.

Form a sachet, put it into the boiling water and hold it for 3-4 minutes. (Depending on the consistency of the yolk you prefer). The pouch is a little loose and the egg doesn't come out very even!

Place a poached egg in each bowl.

Fill to the top with the cheese and avocado mixture and cover with bread. Then invert the piadas onto a flat plate and remove the sandwiches.
