Tigers are meat eaters, of course. And so something meat should always be on the table! At least a little snack will do. I was lucky enough to get some hare's liver. And that was the basis for the tiger's "of the tiger's joy"! For the contest "Gorenje: New Year composition".

Ingredients for appetizer "tiger meat!":

  • Beef liver (rabbit or hare) - 200 g
  • Brisket (smoked) - 50 g
  • Dry red wine - 50 ml
  • Ruccola (small bunch)
  • Oregano (dried) - 1 teaspoon
  • Parmesan - 100 g
  • Baguette - 4 slices.
  • Salt (sea salt)
  • Vinegar (wine)
  • White dry wine - 30 ml
  • Olive oil

How to cook appetizer "tiger meat!" Step by step with photos

Fry the slices of baguette in a little olive oil until golden brown.

Make a sauce of white wine, a pinch of salt and a few drops of wine vinegar. Place fried slices of baguette on a plate and drizzle the sauce over them.

Wash and dry liver, then finely chop them with a knife.

Fry liver in olive oil for 2 minutes.

Finely chop bacon and add to liver in pan. Fry for 1 to 2 minutes more. Add red wine

and oregano. Remove from heat.

Wash and finely chop rocket salad and add to meat.

Grate Parmesan on fine grater. Add half of the Parmesan cheese to the meat and stir to combine,

Make chips out of the remaining cheese. In a hot, dry pan, place the grated cheese in 4 small piles. Let it melt.

Carefully remove the chips from the pan and quickly transfer to a rolling pin.

Spread liver mixture on slices of baguette and garnish with cheese chips.
