  • Bread (white for toast) - 4 units
  • Shrimps (royal) - 10 units
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Onions (large) - 1 pc
  • Sugar (fine crystal or powdered sugar) - 2 teaspoon
  • Vinegar (white balsamic) - 2 teaspoon
  • Orange (The juice of half an orange and the zest of the same) - 1 pc
  • Soy sauce ( TM Kikkoman ) - 4 tablespoon
  • Salad leaves / Salad (arugula to serve)

How to cook tiger prawn toast step by step with photos

We need these items.

Marinate peeled shrimp in soy sauce.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onions and cook for about 15 minutes until they are soft but not browned.

Add the powdered sugar, balsamic vinegar, the soy sauce in which the shrimp were marinated, and the juice and zest of the orange. Bring to the boil, turn down the heat and let it cook until it caramelizes. Turn off. Allow to cool.

Toast shrimp and white bread on a grill pan. Spread caramelized onions on the bread. Then put one arugula leaf, two prawns and a sprig of dill on top.

Place toasts in two layers on the sheet of foil.
